The Director General of City Boy Movement, Hon. Francis Oluwatosin Shoga has hailed the Supreme Court’s affirmation of Senator Monday Okpebholo as the authentic Governor of Edo State.
In a statement personally signed by Hon. Shoga, he described Thursday judgment as a resounding validation of democratic principles and the rule of law.
“Today, the Supreme Court has spoken with finality, and democracy has triumphed over political desperation. Governor Monday Okpebholo’s victory is a victory for the progressive ideals of the All Progressives Congress and a testament to the growing acceptance of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s transformative leadership across Nigeria,” Hon. Shoga declared.
The City Boy Movement chief noted that the Supreme Court’s dismissal of the PDP’s appeal is a decisive blow to opposition forces attempting to subvert the will of Edo people through legal technicalities.
Hon. Shoga congratulated Governor Okpebholo on behalf of millions of young Nigerians who believe in President Tinubu and the APC’s vision of a prosperous Nigeria, urging him to hit the ground running with people-centered policies.
The Director General assured Governor Okpebholo of City Boy Movement’s unshakable support in implementing policies that align with President Tinubu’s national development blueprint.
The City Boy Movement also called on all Edo State residents to support Governor Monday in the collective task of building a more prosperous state that serves as a shining example of APC’s commitment to good governance.
