Kwara State two hundred young scholars have showered encomiums on Distinguished Senator Saliu Mustapha, the Turaki of Ilorin Emirates and lawmake representing Kwara Central at the seante, as he celebrates his birthday anniversary.
The students, who are beneficiaries of the Senator’s fully funded scholarship scheme, described him as a visionary leader whose educational investment has transformed their lives and destinies.
Speaking through the Turaki Young Scholars Forum, the beneficiaries said the scholarship programme had lifted the burden of tuition fees from their families while restoring hope to young people in Kwara Central Senatorial District.
“Education is the light that dispels the darkness of poverty, ignorance, and hopelessness. For many of us, that light might have been dimmed if not for the visionary leadership of Senator Saliu Mustapha,” the forum stated in a press release.
