The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, PhD, GCON, has appointed Comrade Yusuf Mutiu Olaitan as Senior Legislative Aide.
The appointment, facilitated by the member representing Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency, Hon. Muktar Tolani Shagaya, was announced on Thursday.
In a statement issued by Shagaya’s office, the lawmaker described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Mutiu’s commitment, dedication, and invaluable contribution to the team.
“This prestigious appointment reflects not only the solid and productive working relationship between my office and the Rt. Hon. Speaker but also recognition of Comrade Mutiu’s dedication and contributions,” Shagaya stated.
The lawmaker congratulated the appointee and expressed confidence that he would contribute to the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.

Mutiu is the Convener of Play With Kwara Youths (PWKY), an initiative described as the largest convergence of youths in Kwara State devoid of politics, where various outdoor and indoor games are played to promote unity, togetherness, and love among young people.
The appointment takes immediate effect.
