Popular Nigerian singer Qdot has been left traumatised after suffering a violent armed robbery at his home in the early hours of today.

Lens News gathered that the attack happened around 2:30am, when gunmen broke into the artist’s residence. The robbers, armed with sophisticated weapons, held Qdot at gunpoint before carting away his phones, laptops, and other valuables.

Sources confirmed that the criminals went further by forcing access to Qdot’s bank accounts, transferring all available funds. They also seized control of his social media platforms, sparking fears of potential impersonation or blackmail.

As at press time, Qdot had not made a personal statement, but close associates say he is safe and receiving support from family and friends. The incident has raised fresh concerns about the safety of Nigerian entertainers, who are often targeted by armed gangs for their perceived wealth.

Police authorities are yet to issue an official statement, but neighbours told Lens News that the robbery was swift and professionally executed, leaving the community in shock.
