Play With Kwara Youths, a nongovernmental organization promoting unity among Kwara State youths, has opened registration for its 5th annual sports fiesta.
The organization, registered as “Sports for Kwara Youths Initiative,” announced that registration would run from Sunday, October 12, to Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
Convener of PWKY, Yusuf Mutiu, stated that the initiative brings Kwara youths together regardless of political parties, religion, or tribe to strengthen oneness, peace, and unity.
“PWKY is designed to foster a formidable society even in the face of provocative politics. We anticipate participants to join us for this year’s event,” Mutiu stated.
He disclosed that teams would be limited to a maximum of 15 players per squad for this edition, urging interested Kwarans to register before the deadline.
“We advised interested participants to complete the registration form carefully before the closing date on Wednesday, October 15,” he added.
The organization has consistently used sports as a tool for youth engagement and social cohesion in Kwara State since its inception.

The 5th edition of the PWKY sports fiesta is expected to attract hundreds of young people from across the state’s 16 local government areas.
