Prince Alex Raises Concerns Over Kidnapping in Kw-South, Seeks IGP Interventions

A prominent Ekan Nla prince and business leader, Dr. Kehinde Alex Bankole has raised alarm over the escalating security challenges in Kwara South.

In a publication obtained from Just Event Online, Prince Bankole made this call during a meeting with Nigeria’s Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, yesterday.

Prince Bankole who serves as Deputy Commissioner of Police in the Supernumerary Unit, emphasized the urgent need to address the rising incidents of kidnapping and banditry in the region.

Bankole doubles as founder of multiple successful enterprises including KAB Constructions, KAB Energy, and KAB Securities, leveraged his position as both a traditional leader and law enforcement officer to advocate for enhanced security measures. He commended the IGP’s leadership while stressing the importance of implementing strategic interventions to protect local communities.

The Prince also expressed support for the IGP’s recent tenure extension, encouraging sustained focus on national security priorities despite potential opposition.
