Bayo Ojulari has officially assumed the position of Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd), taking over from Mele Kyari during a handover ceremony at NNPC Towers on Friday.
The new GCEO expressed his commitment to building upon the foundation established by his predecessor, pledging to elevate the company to greater heights.
“The objective of this management is to consolidate on the successes of my predecessor and take the company to the next level,” Ojulari stated during the ceremony.
Ojulari also emphasized the importance of collaboration with the company’s management and staff.
He also expressed his intention to seek guidance from his predecessor, telling Kyari, “I will be counting on your support. I will need it. I will be coming around to seek your counsel.”
Kyari, in his farewell remarks, congratulated his successor and expressed gratitude to the management and staff for their support during his tenure.
He assured Ojulari of his continued assistance, noting that he remains available whenever needed.
