The Chairman of Awliya Foundation, Hakeem Oladimeji Lawal, has provided financial support to Kwarans during the Holy Month of Ramadan to ease their economic burden.
The initiative, facilitated through the Awliya Foundation established in memory of the late Kwara State Governor, Rear Admiral Mohammed Alabi Lawal aims to assist Muslim families in need.
Speaking during the presentation of cash support, Lawal emphasized that the cash support is his way of giving back and showing appreciation to God.
The renowned philanthropist, through the Awliya Foundation Team also announced that daily Iftar will commence this week at the Alabi Alasa Centre in Idi Ape, providing free meals for indigent families throughout Ramadan.
Beneficiaries, including Hajia Folorunsho Iyabo from Gambari, have expressed deep gratitude, acknowledging Lawal’s consistent generosity and praying for his continued success.
Earlier in October, 2024, the Foundation equally provided business stimulation grants to 150 petty traders, where cash support of N50,000 and N20,000 were awarded to traders in Kwara State.
