Kwara United have unveiled the nominees for their Player of the Month award for October.

The contenders are Toheeb Gidado, Aule Johnmark, Yahaya Ibrahim, and Nurudeen Badmus.

Gidado and Johnmark were rock solid in the heart of Kwara United’s midfield throughout the month.

Ibrahim was also outstanding for coach Ashifat Suleiman’s side during the period under review.

He scored the decisive goal that earned the Harmony Boys a 1-0 victory over Katsina United on Matchday Nine in Ilorin.

Goalkeeper Badmus kept two clean sheets in the month, against Katsina United and Rangers.

The 20-year-old shot-stopper has made six appearances and conceded only four goals this season.

The winner of the award will be announced next week.

Kwara United are reintroducing the Player of the Month award as a means of recognising and rewarding hard work among their players.
